About the Job’s Infrastructure team focuses on building and maintaining technical systems that run our organization and website. We’re looking for an Infrastructure Analyst to help support team members with our in-house systems as well as monitoring, auditing, and testing parts of our cloud infrastructure. Some responsibilities include:

  • Help team members troubleshoot issues with our growing network of equipment:
    • PCs and servers running Mac, Windows, and Linux.
    • Phone systems, printers, dashboard TVs, conference equipment, etc.
    • Office network with wireless LANs, VPNs, remote clients, network storage, etc.
    • Provision new equipment and maintain inventory.
  • Analyze logs and dashboards for potential issues and develop new dashboards to help make easy visual references.
  • Support the infrastructure team in stress testing cloud infrastructure and identify potential performance bottlenecks.
  • Maintain security standards and help implement safer practices while keeping a convenient fast-paced workflow. Aid with security audits and monitoring.

You’re motivated to see things through to the end and share your findings with team members so that everyone grows. Most of all, you are patient and have fun doing your work. Essential skills include:

  • Ability to troubleshoot all aspects of a PC in a business network.
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and tools and to document them for others to reference.
  • Firm understanding of good security practices, networking, and CPU/memory/storage/network performance tuning.
  • Basic understanding of Linux CLI, virtualization, cloud computing.
  • Excellent communication skills, including giving and receiving constructive criticism
  • Bonus! If you have experience with database systems, active directory, scripting or programming, working with version controlled software.

Compensation and Benefits:
