About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Product Analyst to join the Business Operations team at Niche. You will be asked to wear many hats to help drive revenue growth and move the business forward as you gain experience. Your work will directly impact our ability to grow the direct sales organization at Niche. You will implement operational improvements using tooling and automation to help our growing sales organization scale. You will be responsible for driving the research and analytics initiatives that underlie every layer of our direct sales strategy. You will also help manage our client marketing efforts by executing email and digital ad campaigns and working with our Design team to develop marketing collateral that conveys our value proposition to current and prospective clients. 

During the 1st Month:

  • Collaborate with various team members to learn about the company
  • Work with members of the Business Operations team to begin to understand our users, our clients, the industry, and our direct sales organization
  • Work with Analysts across the Product department to learn about our tools, workflow and analytical process
  • Shadow team members to learn more about how we collaborate with other areas of the business and how your role fits with external stakeholders and teams
  • Learn the basics of Salesforce and Marketo administration
  • Learn how to query data from our databases and external data sources, like Google Analytics
  • Learn how to execute digital ad campaigns using Google Ads and Facebook Ads Manager
  • Learn how to clean and analyze data using R

Within 3 Months:

  • Gain a deep understanding of our sales organization and how different teams work
  • Start to identify areas for operational improvement in the sales organization and develop strategies for implementing change
  • Become proficient in Salesforce administration—learn how to automate workflows and processes by writing custom Apex code
  • Become proficient in Marketo administration—create email campaigns and analyze the results to help improve our client marketing efforts
  • Begin to learn the ins and outs of K-12 and college enrollment marketing, digital advertising, and how we drive value for our clients—do some self-guided research and present your findings
  • Execute digital ad campaigns for our clients and begin to use insights from performance to drive optimizations
  • Start to take on analytical projects, like KPI reporting and product launch analysis

Within 6 Months:

  • Perform self-directed research and analysis to identify opportunities for growth
  • Begin to use your experience and insights to drive strategic change in sales operations
  • Take full ownership of different research, analytics, and operations initiatives
  • Gain a deep understanding of the sales funnel and identify opportunities to optimize for growth

Within 12 Months:

  • You will have a deep knowledge of our product, company, and sales organization
  • You will own several facets of sales operations and analytics at Niche
  • You will use research and analysis to drive strategic growth for the company
  • You will be held accountable for improving the sales funnel and growing direct sales revenue

What We Are Looking For

  • SQL, R, or Python experience
