We’re looking for a highly motivated and seasoned Sales Manager who has experience in building winning teams and developing top performers to help us grow our education inside sales group.  Coaching and skill development is a key part of this role. You must be fearless and persistent. Motivated by the challenge of closing new sales and developing strategies to push through roadblocks.


  • Bachelor's degree in a business or education related field
  • Desire to lead a team of inside account executives
  • Experience as a sales leader in a SaaS, B to B or Digital Media environments
  • Proven track record of leading NEW BUSINESS teams to consistent above objective performance
  • A passion for sales automation, tracking, forecasting, and pipeline management
  • Extensive experience with Salesforce or a similar CRM
  • Able to thrive and quickly adapt in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills a must
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, desire to perform and make a difference


You’ll be tasked with providing energized leadership to a growing NEW BUSINESS sales team. You will be responsible to expand sales for our product that gives institutions enhanced visibility on  You will be expected to manage 8 - 12 Inside Sales Account Executives to continuously improve our sales process by tracking, automating, and scaling the team's efforts. As the sales manager, you'll develop strategies to expand sales efforts with our product line.


  • Attend onboarding sessions to better understand our internal processes and learn about the company
  • Learn the Niche product offerings inside and out and begin to feel comfortable demoing the product to any audience
  • Shadow  calls at various stages of the sales cycle to understand where we’re improving and what we can work on
  • Establish and run weekly team meetings and 1:1s with your reports to track, impact, coach, and improve results. Report to leadership on sales goals and pipeline.
  • Work directly with the VP of Sales on new initiatives and ways to improve day to day operations; build the best Account Executive teams in the industry.
  • Improve our training and development plan so that new and newly promoted reps are prepared to hit the ground running
  • Build on Niche’s sales playbook. Create a plan to consistently revisit and improve that playbook to up the game of the sales org! Plan how your team will hit and exceed their monthly sales goals
  • Help the team recruit  sales candidates for not only your team but other sales teams as well
  • Communicate goals for your reports to hit on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Partner with reps on your team to create an individualized success plan that accounts for personal and professional development goal
  • Advance our competitive intelligence and consultative selling efforts by updating your team’s sales playbook with the latest sales strategies
  • Participate in strategic planning to establish a top-level quarterly sales goal for your team
  • Consistently meet and exceed quota goals
  • Have successfully executed on yearly quota - over 100% of plan
  • Be a critical sounding board for Product, Marketing and other departments to gain insight into our customer requests and future products
