Job Summary

We are looking for a fearless new business prospector. Your role will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers. 

Prospecting and lead generation activities are primarily focused on making warm and cold telephone calls, as well as sending email messages, to leads in our database.  You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers.

Within 1 month:

  • Dive into our sales training and quickly start to develop an understanding of our customers and enrollment marketing solutions.
  • Participate in our onboarding program and learn about the different teams at Niche
  • Roleplay, roleplay, roleplay until you’re confident and comfortable with verbiage
  • Learn the sales process and understand key performance indicators
  • Jump into the day-to-day duties of an SDR by booking your first appointments.  You will call and email your assigned prospects while navigating Salesforce
  • Use investigative skills to identify the correct contact for each account

Within 3 Months:

  • Own your numbers -- hit your qualified customer appointments number 
  • Work closely with Account Executives to establish a process and strategy to achieve goals and progressively seek new business
  • Become an expert to confidently speak to product features 

Within 6 Months:

  • Effortlessly fold in cold outreach to your routine where you can jump into a phone conversation with anyone while consistently meeting your numbers
  • Tap into the knowledge you’ve been building to discover totally new sources of leads that we can reach out to
  • Step up as a leader to new Sales Development Representatives

Within 12 Months:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market 
  • Become a senior member of the team, helping onboard, train and mentor your peers
  • Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities within the sales organization

What We Are Looking For

  • Hands-on phone experience (preferably cold calls)
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics preferred
