About the Role

We are looking for a Product Analyst to join our Growth team. You’ll work to drive user acquisition through paid social and digital campaign efforts through data led analysis and insights. You will also use a foundation in statistics and curiosity about what delivers results to broaden the analytical capacity of the Growth team. Using your affinity for synthesizing data and communication skills, you will ensure that our marketing processes are optimized to help connect Niche to its users.

During the 1st Month:

  • Collaborate with various team members to learn about the company
  • Work with members of the Growth team to learn the landscape of our current digital and performance marketing strategy
  • Work with Analysts across the Product department to learn about our tools, workflow and analytical process
  • Shadow Growth team members to learn more about how we collaborate with other areas of the business and how your role fits with external stakeholders and teams
  • Begin to analyze the results of marketing campaigns and identify opportunities and next steps

Within 3 Months:

  • Collaborate with members of the Growth team to gain expertise in our digital marketing channels including campaign optimization and ROI measurement
  • Assume responsibility for some marketing processes such as programmatic ad placement and audience building
  • You will begin taking ownership over some analytical processes on the Growth team such as KPI reporting, dashboards, and presentation of statistical analysis and results

Within 6 Months:

  • You will have introductory-level knowledge of all business and revenue strategy as well as product features and user engagement trends
  • You will have deep knowledge of digital marketing processes and advertising revenue strategy
  • Own 25% of Niche marketing campaigns end-to-end: from developing campaign creatives to publishing the ad to spend and performance optimization
  • Begin collaboration with other product teams and champion data driven decision making and performance evaluation

Within 12 months:

  • You will have deep knowledge of our digital marketing processes and become a go-to resource for campaign targeting strategies, design and analyze experiments, and publish results
  • Develop, own and maintain dashboards, reports, and deep-dive analyses to inform the ongoing launch and optimization of marketing channels and initiatives
  • You will be the expert in identifying and implementing insights about how to optimize our growth engine and marketing processes
  • Partner with other product teams or business teams to set goals, and devise marketing tactics to achieve those goals

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field
  • Previous experience in an analytical or digital marketing role preferred
  • Proven technical track record of combining rigorous data-driven analysis and an ability to work well across a variety of teams to solve complex problems
  • Self-directed; ability to translate vague requirements into prioritized problems to solve
  • Experience with SQL, R, Python, or other tools.
  • Experience with web analytics, digital advertising, and ad platforms such as Facebook, Google and others
  • Statistical modeling & A/B testing experience
