About the Job

We’re looking for a highly motivated Account Executive with Digital Media experience, to help us grow our business with colleges and universities. You’ll be tasked with prospecting and closing new clients from the Marketing and Admissions departments at colleges and K-12 schools for our products and services which give institutions enhanced visibility on Niche.com and social media. 

What You Will Do:

  • Drive sales efforts by prospecting and closing sales to colleges and K-12 schools in the New England and surrounding areas
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of clients
  • Support various sales team initiatives
  • Achieve and exceed monthly quotas
  • This is a hybrid inside/outside sales position, selling via phone and email, as well as in the field visiting prospective clients to close deals

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or education related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience including sales and marketing in a SaaS environment
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Self -starter able to thrive and quickly adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Fearless and persistent. Motivated by the challenge of closing new outbound sales. Not afraid to ask for the business
  • Willing to make a lot of phone calls and use social media to connect with decision-makers
  • Must be able to travel to Pittsburgh for a three-week onboarding training and for a few days approximately once per quarter

Highly Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience including sales and marketing in a SaaS environment
  • Experience selling in Education or Digital Media is a plus
  • Experience with consultative selling a plus
