About the Role

We are looking for a highly motivated Strategic Digital Sales Executive to advise our education clients on how best to leverage current and emerging digital marketing solutions to meet their enrollment goals. Individuals in this role will possess strong expertise in existing and emerging digital marketing solutions. You will collaborate with our Account Managers and Account Executives to identify opportunities and effectively deliver on marketing solutions to best suit our clients’ enrollment marketing needs and maximize their return on investment.

This role will partner with our digital marketing fulfillment team to formulate appropriate strategies and implementation. You will be responsible for the ongoing management of digital marketing plans, including accountability for post-sale digital support and client program optimization.

What You Will Do

During the 1st Month:

  • Attend onboarding sessions to better understand our internal processes and learn about the company
  • Learn the Niche product offerings inside and out and begin to feel comfortable demoing the product to any audience
  • Spend time with our Business Operations and Analytics team to learn about our digital marketing campaigns and offerings

Within 3 Months:

  • Drive digital marketing sales efforts by partnering with Account Executives and Account Managers on their individualized sales plans, assist in their sales presentations and ability to close business
  • Advance our competitive intelligence and consultative selling efforts by updating the sales team’s playbook with the latest digital sales strategies
  • Create new sales pitches/decks focusing on digital marketing in the education space
  • Partner with sales leadership to improve the digital marketing IQ of the current sales team members
  • Begin managing and growing a portfolio of digital marketing clients and revenues

Within 6 Months:

  • Be the digital marketing subject matter expert in client facing calls
  • Analyze current digital marketing campaigns and call out areas of opportunity
  • Strategize with the Sales and Business Operations and Analytics teams on new initiatives to build business
  • Shadow calls at various stages of the sales cycle to understand where we’re improving and what we can work on
  • Consistently meet or exceed management defined activity, revenue, product and objective goals

Within 12 Months:

  • Drive campaign ROI and leverage client relationships to assist the sales team in retaining and growing accounts
  • Manage client expectations, communication, industry benchmark alignment to performance metrics

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in a business or education related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience including sales of complex digital marketing solutions
  • Google and Facebook Certifications a plus, but not required
  • Previous use or understanding of Salesforce or a similar CRM system
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills a must
  • Able to thrive and quickly adapt to a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Useful Experience

  • 3 or more years of relevant experience including sales and marketing in a SaaS environment
  • Experience selling in Education or Digital Media is a plus
  • Experience with consultative selling a plus
