About the Role

Our direct sales team is growing rapidly! We are looking for an enthusiastic candidate with 1-5 years Account Management experience and a commitment to providing exceptional customer support to join our Direct Sales/Education Market team.

The Account Manager will be responsible for driving client retention and growing the revenue footprint within a portfolio of education market (College & K-12) customers. This position requires a unique and talented individual that excels in multiple business disciplines. 

You will divide your time between developing relationships, clearly communicating our impact and value to the clients on a monthly and quarterly bases and identifying upsell opportunities within those key customer accounts. This position will work closely with the Client Success and Account Executive teams to ensure our customers are well-supported.

What You Will Do

  • Assist Account Executive staff with onboarding new clients and ensuring success on our platform.
  • Provide exceptional customer support and consultation via phone and email leading to advertiser retention, revenue retention and upsell.
  • Proactively manage advertising packages to ensure an overall positive client experience.
  • Skillfully communicate to clients the value of Niche advertising to demonstrate positive ROI.
  • Create regular reporting and communication cadence and respond to client questions as needed.
  • Create and maintain accurate internal and external reporting.
  • Occasional Travel (10%).

What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field,
  • 2+ years of Account Management experience.
  • Experience in internet, tech services, client services, sales, marketing or related field.
  • Must be well spoken and have polished presentation skills,
  • Excellent communication skills over email, by telephone and in person.
  • Comfortable with striving to hit ambitious goals,
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM system.
  • Experience in a tech-focused and/or B2B client-facing role
