About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic director level candidate to lead the partnerships team at niche. Our partnerships team manages all revenue-generating partnerships that don’t involve schools - from test prep to student loans to real estate listings. The director of partnership sales is responsible for leading our partnerships team in deliveing revenue growth from these channels primarily through performance marketing, display advertising, brand partnerships, and data licensing.

What You Will Do

  • Own the revenue number for our Partnerships channel and help the company hit our total bookings goal - Find ways to expand existing revenue channels and close new business opportunities.
  • Develop and execute the company's short and long-term Partnership Roadmap.
  • Work closely with Product Development, Sales, and Marketing teams to ensure alignment on company strategy and fuel Partnership growth.
  • Lead a small, but growing Partnerships Team and build a framework for scalable growth.

What We Are Looking For

  • A hands-on, down-to-earth leader, who naturally rolls up his/her sleeves to make things happen.
  • Demonstrated success in driving revenue growth for a Sales or Business Development team with a background in digital advertising sales/partnerships.
  • Track record of closing and retaining large, customized deals that are unique to the client / opportunity.
  • Proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills - able to identify opportunities in numbers and drive sales growth from them.
  • A change agent who relishes a fast-paced, highly energized environment and is able to work through complexity and ambiguity to drive clear strategic thinking
  • Inclusive leader who is an excellent communicator and active manager who can develop and grow the Partnerships team.
