About the Role

Our small but mighty Business Development team is just beginning to grow. If you have experience and connections in the financial services industry, particularly in marketing and advertising solutions for student loans, mortgages, and other consumer financial products, you could be a great fit.

The Financial Services Partnerships Manager will be responsible for finding new marketing partnerships in the financial services industry on Niche.com. We have a proven model of creating high value business to business partnerships and we are looking for a goal-oriented person comfortable communicating with a variety of internal and external stakeholders.   

During the 1st Month:

  • Learn our site, user behavior, and product offering so you can communicate the complex business partnerships to internal and external stakeholders
  • Shadow calls with other Business Development and Sales team members
  • Connect with your financial services network to begin to build a pipeline and start running calls with the help of teammates and your manager
  • Work with team to refine our suite Financial Services products for your conversations with prospects.

Within 3 Months:

  • Understand the performance needs that lead to long-term valuable partnerships. Seek out excellent B2B relationships and push them forward
  • Close three to four new client relationships with the potential to scale and add to top line revenue
  • Support growth of Financial Service product offering and drive product visibility to more users
  • Begin reporting and onboarding with new clients while maintaining an active pipeline with prospects.

Within 6 Months:

  • Strive for a top line target revenue number with a book of business including at least seven stable new clients in the Financial Services industry.
  • Forecast new business and liaise with Product and Marketing teams to fulfill budget of clients.

Within 12 Months:

  • Meet your individual revenue goal and contribute to the team’s goal.
  • Connect with large Financial Services companies in person, either at conferences or through travel to prospect and partner offices.
  • Identify  new markets and targets for expansion of our offering.

What We Are Looking For

  • At least three years’ experience in the financial services industry, particularly in student loans, mortgages and consumer financial products
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Must be well spoken and have polished presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills over email, by telephone and in person
  • Comfortable with striving to hit ambitious goals
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, team-oriented environment

Preferred Experience

  • Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM system
  • Experience in a tech-focused and/or B2B client-facing role
  • Breadth of connections in the financial services industry
