Lead Generation Specialist

We are looking for a thorough and efficient Account Development Specialist to join our fast-growing team. 

The Account Development Specialist will support the sales team by researching and finding the best contacts for accounts in budding segments. Gathering contact information for prospecting purposes and correcting data about schools on Niche are the primary focuses of this role.  Your job is to fill the top of the funnel for the sales team by providing the best contact information for prospects and proactively correcting any data on-site. 

You will be tasked with a set of accounts to find or update contacts and then email the person to generate an internal lead.  You will also be tasked with a variety of other sales-administrative projects that could include assisting in follow up from conferences and logging social media activity from prospective schools into Salesforce, among other things.

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL

  • Dive in to our training and quickly start to develop an understanding of our customers  and enrollment marketing solutions
  • Participate in our company-wide onboarding process and learn about the different teams
  • Shadow other members of the sales and support teams
  • Learn operational processes
  • Jump into the day-to-day duties of an SDS -- use investigative skills to identify the correct contact for each account and email your prospects while navigating Salesforce

WITHIN 3 MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Own your numbers -- ensure you’re hitting your outreach and contacts created number while keeping a close eye on claims generated
  • Work closely with SDRs to establish a process and strategy to achieve goals and progressively seek new business
  • Become more efficient as you effortlessly navigate different school’s websites to find best contact and record work in Salesforce
  • Continue to delve and learn about the education vertical, digital marketing, Niche culture, and our product

WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL

  • Give feedback into improving operational processes
  • Effortlessly fold investigation and outreach to your routine 
  • Tap into the knowledge you’ve been building to discover and refine prospects we’re reaching out to and the language we’re using
  • Step up as a leader to the new team members
  • Continuously hit outreach targets, contacts created targets and claims while spearheading any new initiatives
  • Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities within the organization

What We Are Looking For

  • A keen eye for details and thoroughness 
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
  • A desire to achieve goals
  • Experience with CRM software preferred
